Born in 1978 under the creative sign of Cancer Nikolai showed an early interest in art and drawing. At the early age of 8 he was encouraged to start drawing lessons and this led him in experimenting techniques in mixed media and found that he favoured pencil drawing which is still his preferred method today.

 

Taking part in various art competitions and exhibitions then fuelled Nikolai's ambition to further his studies in Graphical and Visual Communications. This led him to successfully graduate in Industrial Design at the Art and Design centre in Valletta.

 

His new highlight to his artistic field was in 2007 when he purchased his first digital SLR camera. Combining this technology with art and drawing today Nikolai offers a unique and professional photography service ranging from portraits to commercial work and specialising in events and the clubbing scene.
